Estonia 2026 Sipsik

The obverse of the coin features a stylized representation of the character Sipsik, known for his handmade doll-like appearance. At the center of the composition, Sipsik is depicted with outstretched arms and a childlike smile, evoking joy and innocence. In addition, his striped clothing and woolen hair are faithfully reproduced in the design. As a result, the illustration retains the distinctive features that make the character instantly recognizable.

Around the central image is the inscription SIPSIK, corresponding to the character’s name. In the top right corner, we see the name of the issuing country, EESTI, which means “Estonia” in Estonian. Furthermore, in the bottom left corner, the year of issue 2026 is clearly indicated. The entire design is surrounded by the twelve stars of the European Union, symbolizing Estonia’s membership in the eurozone. This arrangement follows the format common to all €2 commemorative coins.
