France 2026 The Little Prince (One random color coin card)

A commemorative €2 coin issued by the Bank of France in 2026 to mark the 80th anniversary of the story *The Little Prince* (*Le Petit Prince*) by writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

The center of the coin's obverse depicts the Little Prince—the famous literary character created by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Beside him is a stylized number 80, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the work's creation. The inscription "Le Petit Prince" appears at the top, and the year of issue, 2026, is at the bottom. The twelve stars of the European Union are arranged around the outer ring.

The reverse of the coin features the standard design common to all €2 coins: a geographical map of Western Europe positioned on the right side, extending across both the inner and outer sections. The inscription "2 EURO" appears above the map, with the numeral "2" set against the background of the Atlantic Ocean. The outer ring features 12 stars arranged on either side of the map, with vertical lines visually connecting the upper and lower stars.
